To uninstall tcsh just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tcsh

TENEX C Shell, an enhanced version of Berkeley csh Debian 7.0 shells 6.18.01-2

sudo apt-get remove tcsh

Which will remove just the tcsh package itself.

Uninstall tcsh and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tcsh

This will remove the tcsh package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tcsh then this will work.

Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
