How To Uninstall termit on wheezy

To uninstall termit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just termit

Simple terminal emulator based on vte library, embedded lua Debian 7.0 x11 2.9.4-2

sudo apt-get remove termit

Which will remove just the termit package itself.

Uninstall termit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove termit

This will remove the termit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for termit then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge termit  

Or similarly, like this termit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove termit
