How To Uninstall tftpd-hpa on wheezy

To uninstall tftpd-hpa just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tftpd-hpa

HPA's tftp server Debian 7.0 net 5.2-4

sudo apt-get remove tftpd-hpa

Which will remove just the tftpd-hpa package itself.

Uninstall tftpd-hpa and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tftpd-hpa

This will remove the tftpd-hpa package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tftpd-hpa then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tftpd-hpa  

Or similarly, like this tftpd-hpa

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tftpd-hpa
