How To Uninstall topgit on wheezy

To uninstall topgit just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just topgit

a Git patch queue manager Debian 7.0 vcs 0.8-1.1

sudo apt-get remove topgit

Which will remove just the topgit package itself.

Uninstall topgit and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove topgit

This will remove the topgit package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for topgit then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge topgit  

Or similarly, like this topgit

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove topgit
