How To Uninstall tracker-dbg on wheezy

To uninstall tracker-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tracker-dbg

metadata database, indexer and search tool - debugging symbols Debian 7.0 debug 0.14.1-3

sudo apt-get remove tracker-dbg

Which will remove just the tracker-dbg package itself.

Uninstall tracker-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tracker-dbg

This will remove the tracker-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tracker-dbg then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tracker-dbg  

Or similarly, like this tracker-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tracker-dbg
