How To Uninstall ttf-telugu-fonts on wheezy

To uninstall ttf-telugu-fonts just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ttf-telugu-fonts

transitional dummy package Debian 7.0 fonts 2:1.1

sudo apt-get remove ttf-telugu-fonts

Which will remove just the ttf-telugu-fonts package itself.

Uninstall ttf-telugu-fonts and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ttf-telugu-fonts

This will remove the ttf-telugu-fonts package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ttf-telugu-fonts then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ttf-telugu-fonts  

Or similarly, like this ttf-telugu-fonts

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ttf-telugu-fonts
