How To Uninstall tulip on wheezy

To uninstall tulip just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just tulip

System dedicated to the visualization of huge graphs Debian 7.0 graphics 3.7.0dfsg-4

sudo apt-get remove tulip

Which will remove just the tulip package itself.

Uninstall tulip and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove tulip

This will remove the tulip package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for tulip then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge tulip  

Or similarly, like this tulip

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove tulip
