How To Uninstall unicorn On Debian 7

To uninstall unicorn just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just unicorn

Rack HTTP server for fast clientsDebian 7.0ruby4.3.1-4
sudo apt-get remove unicorn

This will remove just the unicorn package itself.

Uninstall unicorn and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove unicorn

This will remove the unicorn package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for unicorn then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge unicorn

Or similarly, like this unicorn

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove unicorn
