How To Uninstall unifont On Debian 7

To uninstall unifont just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just unifont

font with a glyph for each visible Unicode 5.1 Plane 0 characterDebian 7.0fonts1:5.1.20080914-1.3
sudo apt-get remove unifont

This will remove just the unifont package itself.

Uninstall unifont and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove unifont

This will remove the unifont package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for unifont then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge unifont

Or similarly, like this unifont

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove unifont
