How To Uninstall vdr-plugin-epgsearch On Debian 7

To uninstall vdr-plugin-epgsearch just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vdr-plugin-epgsearch

VDR plugin that provides extensive EPG searching capabilitiesDebian 7.0video1.0.0+git20120325-4
sudo apt-get remove vdr-plugin-epgsearch

This will remove just the vdr-plugin-epgsearch package itself.

Uninstall vdr-plugin-epgsearch and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vdr-plugin-epgsearch

This will remove the vdr-plugin-epgsearch package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vdr-plugin-epgsearch then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vdr-plugin-epgsearch

Or similarly, like this vdr-plugin-epgsearch

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vdr-plugin-epgsearch
