How To Uninstall vdr-plugin-fritzbox On Debian 7

To uninstall vdr-plugin-fritzbox just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just vdr-plugin-fritzbox

VDR plugin to access certain functions of an AVM Fritz!BoxDebian 7.0video1.4.3-2
sudo apt-get remove vdr-plugin-fritzbox

This will remove just the vdr-plugin-fritzbox package itself.

Uninstall vdr-plugin-fritzbox and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vdr-plugin-fritzbox

This will remove the vdr-plugin-fritzbox package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vdr-plugin-fritzbox then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge vdr-plugin-fritzbox

Or similarly, like this vdr-plugin-fritzbox

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove vdr-plugin-fritzbox
