How To Uninstall worldwind on wheezy

To uninstall worldwind just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just worldwind

3D Virtual Globe Debian 7.0 non-free/science 0.5.0-10

sudo apt-get remove worldwind

Which will remove just the worldwind package itself.

Uninstall worldwind and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove worldwind

This will remove the worldwind package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for worldwind then this will work.

  Caution!   Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge worldwind  

Or similarly, like this worldwind

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove worldwind
