How To Uninstall network-manager-l2tp On Kali Linux 2017.1

To uninstall network-manager-l2tp just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just network-manager-l2tp

network management framework (L2TP plugin core) and connections, attempting to keep active network connectivity when available. It manages ethernet, WiFi, mobile broadband (WWAN), and PPPoE devices, and provides VPN integration with a variety of different VPN services.Kali Linux 2017.1net1.2.6-2
sudo apt-get remove network-manager-l2tp

This will remove just the network-manager-l2tp package itself.

Uninstall network-manager-l2tp and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove network-manager-l2tp

This will remove the network-manager-l2tp package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for network-manager-l2tp then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge network-manager-l2tp

Or similarly, like this network-manager-l2tp

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove network-manager-l2tp
