This will remove just the xawtv-plugin-qt package itself.
Uninstall xawtv-plugin-qt and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xawtv-plugin-qt
This will remove the xawtv-plugin-qt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for xawtv-plugin-qt then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xawtv-plugin-qt
Or similarly, like this xawtv-plugin-qt
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xawtv-plugin-qt
