How To Uninstall kde-baseapps-data On Linux Mint 17.2

To uninstall kde-baseapps-data just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just kde-baseapps-data

shared data files for the KDE base applications for a basic KDE 4 desktop installation.Linux Mint 17.2kde4:4.14.2-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa1
sudo apt-get remove kde-baseapps-data

This will remove just the kde-baseapps-data package itself.

Uninstall kde-baseapps-data and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kde-baseapps-data

This will remove the kde-baseapps-data package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for kde-baseapps-data then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge kde-baseapps-data

Or similarly, like this kde-baseapps-data

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kde-baseapps-data
