How To Uninstall parole-dev On Linux Mint 17.2

To uninstall parole-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just parole-dev

development files for Parole media player GStreamer framework.Linux Mint 17.2xfce0.8.0-0ubuntu1~14.04
sudo apt-get remove parole-dev

This will remove just the parole-dev package itself.

Uninstall parole-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove parole-dev

This will remove the parole-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for parole-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge parole-dev

Or similarly, like this parole-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove parole-dev
