How To Uninstall parole On Linux Mint 17.2

To uninstall parole just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just parole

media player based on GStreamer framework GStreamer framework.Linux Mint 17.2xfce0.8.0-0ubuntu1~14.04
sudo apt-get remove parole

This will remove just the parole package itself.

Uninstall parole and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove parole

This will remove the parole package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for parole then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge parole

Or similarly, like this parole

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove parole
