How To Uninstall xfdashboard-dbg On Linux Mint 17.2

To uninstall xfdashboard-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xfdashboard-dbg

GNOME shell like dashboard for Xfce – debugging symbols user to switch between different applications. The search feature works like Xfce's appfinder which makes it convenient to search for and start applications.Linux Mint 17.2debug0.5.0-0ubuntu1~14.04
sudo apt-get remove xfdashboard-dbg

This will remove just the xfdashboard-dbg package itself.

Uninstall xfdashboard-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xfdashboard-dbg

This will remove the xfdashboard-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xfdashboard-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xfdashboard-dbg

Or similarly, like this xfdashboard-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xfdashboard-dbg
