How To Uninstall caja On Linux Mint 17.2
To uninstall caja just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just caja

This will remove just the caja package itself.
Uninstall caja and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove caja
This will remove the caja package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for caja then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge caja
Or similarly, like this caja
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove caja
