How To Uninstall kalarm On Linux Mint 17.1
To uninstall kalarm just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just kalarm

This will remove just the kalarm package itself.
Uninstall kalarm and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kalarm
This will remove the kalarm package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for kalarm then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge kalarm
Or similarly, like this kalarm
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kalarm
