How To Uninstall ksnapshot On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall ksnapshot just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ksnapshot

sudo apt-get remove ksnapshot

This will remove just the ksnapshot package itself.

Uninstall ksnapshot and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ksnapshot

This will remove the ksnapshot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ksnapshot then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ksnapshot

Or similarly, like this ksnapshot

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ksnapshot
