How To Uninstall libmatekbd-dbg On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall libmatekbd-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmatekbd-dbg

MATE library to manage keyboard configuration (debugging symbols) provided to help debugging problems.Linux Mint 17.1debug1.8.0-0+rebecca
sudo apt-get remove libmatekbd-dbg

This will remove just the libmatekbd-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libmatekbd-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmatekbd-dbg

This will remove the libmatekbd-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmatekbd-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmatekbd-dbg

Or similarly, like this libmatekbd-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmatekbd-dbg
