How To Uninstall libmateweather-dbg On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall libmateweather-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libmateweather-dbg

MateWeather shared library (debugging symbols) library. It is provided to help debugging problems. The debugging symbols are installed in /usr/lib/debug and will automatically be used by gdb.Linux Mint 17.1debug1.8.0-1+rosa
sudo apt-get remove libmateweather-dbg

This will remove just the libmateweather-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libmateweather-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libmateweather-dbg

This will remove the libmateweather-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libmateweather-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libmateweather-dbg

Or similarly, like this libmateweather-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libmateweather-dbg
