How To Uninstall perlqt-dbg On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall perlqt-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just perlqt-dbg

debugging symbols for the perl Qt4 bindings. crashes with the Perl language bindings for Qt4.Linux Mint 17.1debug4:4.14.2-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa1
sudo apt-get remove perlqt-dbg

This will remove just the perlqt-dbg package itself.

Uninstall perlqt-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove perlqt-dbg

This will remove the perlqt-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for perlqt-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge perlqt-dbg

Or similarly, like this perlqt-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove perlqt-dbg
