How To Uninstall pluma-dbg On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall pluma-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pluma-dbg

official text editor of the MATE desktop environment (debugging symbols) provided to help debugging problems.Linux Mint 17.1debug1.8.1
sudo apt-get remove pluma-dbg

This will remove just the pluma-dbg package itself.

Uninstall pluma-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pluma-dbg

This will remove the pluma-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pluma-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pluma-dbg

Or similarly, like this pluma-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pluma-dbg
