How To Uninstall python-kde4 On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall python-kde4 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just python-kde4

Python bindings for the KDE Development Platform libraries, that allow you to write KDE programs using Python instead of C++. It contains at least the following modules under the PyKDE namespace:Linux Mint 17.1python4:4.14.2-0ubuntu1~ubuntu14.04~ppa1
sudo apt-get remove python-kde4

This will remove just the python-kde4 package itself.

Uninstall python-kde4 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove python-kde4

This will remove the python-kde4 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for python-kde4 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge python-kde4

Or similarly, like this python-kde4

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove python-kde4
