How To Uninstall ubuntu-system-adjustments On Linux Mint 17.1

To uninstall ubuntu-system-adjustments just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ubuntu-system-adjustments

Adjustments to the Ubuntu package baseLinux Mint 17.1admin2014.11.19
sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-system-adjustments

This will remove just the ubuntu-system-adjustments package itself.

Uninstall ubuntu-system-adjustments and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ubuntu-system-adjustments

This will remove the ubuntu-system-adjustments package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ubuntu-system-adjustments then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ubuntu-system-adjustments

Or similarly, like this ubuntu-system-adjustments

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ubuntu-system-adjustments
