How To Uninstall kalgebra-common On Linux Mint 17.3
To uninstall kalgebra-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just kalgebra-common

This will remove just the kalgebra-common package itself.
Uninstall kalgebra-common and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kalgebra-common
This will remove the kalgebra-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for kalgebra-common then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge kalgebra-common
Or similarly, like this kalgebra-common
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kalgebra-common
