How To Uninstall pluma-dev On Linux Mint 17.3

To uninstall pluma-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just pluma-dev

official text editor of the MATE desktop environment (development files) extending this basic functionality with other features not usually found in simple text editors. Pluma is a graphical application which supports editing multiple text files in one window (known sometimes as tabs or MDI).Linux Mint 17.3devel1.12.2-1+rosa
sudo apt-get remove pluma-dev

This will remove just the pluma-dev package itself.

Uninstall pluma-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove pluma-dev

This will remove the pluma-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for pluma-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge pluma-dev

Or similarly, like this pluma-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove pluma-dev
