How To Uninstall nemo-filename-repairer On Linux Mint 18.1

To uninstall nemo-filename-repairer just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just nemo-filename-repairer

Nemo extension for filename encoding repair encoding in Nemo. This extension provides the context menu for any file whose filename uses wrong encoding, so that you cannot read the filename in Nemo.Linux Mint 18.1gnome3.2.0+serena
sudo apt-get remove nemo-filename-repairer

This will remove just the nemo-filename-repairer package itself.

Uninstall nemo-filename-repairer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove nemo-filename-repairer

This will remove the nemo-filename-repairer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for nemo-filename-repairer then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge nemo-filename-repairer

Or similarly, like this nemo-filename-repairer

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove nemo-filename-repairer
