How To Uninstall steam-devices On Linux Mint 18.2

To uninstall steam-devices just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just steam-devices

Device support for Steam-related hardware such as the Steam Controller (gamepad) and the HTC Vive (virtual reality headset).Linux Mint 18.2non-free/games1:1.0.0.52-5ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove steam-devices

This will remove just the steam-devices package itself.

Uninstall steam-devices and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove steam-devices

This will remove the steam-devices package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for steam-devices then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge steam-devices

Or similarly, like this steam-devices

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove steam-devices
