How To Uninstall xplayer-dbg On Linux Mint 18.2

To uninstall xplayer-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just xplayer-dbg

Debugging symbols for the Xplayer media player a large number of file formats.Linux Mint 18.2debug1.4.3+sonya
sudo apt-get remove xplayer-dbg

This will remove just the xplayer-dbg package itself.

Uninstall xplayer-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove xplayer-dbg

This will remove the xplayer-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for xplayer-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge xplayer-dbg

Or similarly, like this xplayer-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove xplayer-dbg
