To uninstall ubuntu-drivers-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ubuntu-drivers-common

Detect and install additional Ubuntu driver packages about third-party driver packages. It provides:Linux Mint 18.2admin1:0.4.17.2linuxmint1
sudo apt-get remove ubuntu-drivers-common

This will remove just the ubuntu-drivers-common package itself.

Uninstall ubuntu-drivers-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ubuntu-drivers-common

This will remove the ubuntu-drivers-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ubuntu-drivers-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ubuntu-drivers-common

Or similarly, like this ubuntu-drivers-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ubuntu-drivers-common
