How To Uninstall gcc-doc-base On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall gcc-doc-base just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just gcc-doc-base

several GNU manual pages which should be available together with gcc man pages to fit GNU Free Documentation License requirements.Parrot 3.7contrib/doc6.3.0-1
sudo apt-get remove gcc-doc-base

This will remove just the gcc-doc-base package itself.

Uninstall gcc-doc-base and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove gcc-doc-base

This will remove the gcc-doc-base package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for gcc-doc-base then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge gcc-doc-base

Or similarly, like this gcc-doc-base

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove gcc-doc-base
