sudo apt-get remove google-android-platform-17-installer

This will remove just the google-android-platform-17-installer package itself.

Uninstall google-android-platform-17-installer and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove google-android-platform-17-installer

This will remove the google-android-platform-17-installer package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for google-android-platform-17-installer then this will work.
