To uninstall ableton-link-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ableton-link-dev

synchronizes musical applications on multiple devices – development across multiple applications running on one or more devices. Applications on devices connected to a local network discover each other automatically and form a musical session in which each participant can perform independently: anyone can start or stop while still staying in time. sudo apt-get remove ableton-link-dev

This will remove just the ableton-link-dev package itself.

Uninstall ableton-link-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ableton-link-dev

This will remove the ableton-link-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ableton-link-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ableton-link-dev

Or similarly, like this ableton-link-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ableton-link-dev
