How To Uninstall backintime-common On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall backintime-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just backintime-common

simple backup/snapshot system (common files) taking snapshots and backups of specified folders. It minimizes disk space use by taking a snapshot only if the directory has been changed, and hard links for unmodified files if it has. The user can schedule regular backups using cron.Parrot 3.7utils1.1.12-2
sudo apt-get remove backintime-common

This will remove just the backintime-common package itself.

Uninstall backintime-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove backintime-common

This will remove the backintime-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for backintime-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge backintime-common

Or similarly, like this backintime-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove backintime-common
