To uninstall dns-flood-detector just follow these instructions.

sudo apt-get remove dns-flood-detector
Which will remove just the dns-flood-detector package itself.
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove dns-flood-detector
This will remove the dns-flood-detector package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
If you also want to delete your local/config files for dns-flood-detector then this will work.
sudo apt-get purge dns-flood-detector
Or similarly, like this dns-flood-detector
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove dns-flood-detector
