To uninstall echolot just follow these instructions.
sudo apt-get remove echolot
This will remove just the echolot package itself.
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove echolot
This will remove the echolot package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
If you also want to delete your local/config files for echolot then this will work.
sudo apt-get purge echolot
Or similarly, like this echolot
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove echolot
