How To Uninstall jack On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall jack just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just jack

Rip and encode CDs with one command without having to worry. There is nearly no way that an incomplete rip goes unnoticed, e.g. jack compares WAV and OGG file sizes when continuing from a previous run. Jack also checks your HD space before doing anything (even keeps some MB free).Parrot 3.7sound3.1.1+cvs20050801-29.2
sudo apt-get remove jack

This will remove just the jack package itself.

Uninstall jack and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove jack

This will remove the jack package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for jack then this will work.

Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge jack

Or similarly, like this jack

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove jack
