To uninstall netdiag just follow these instructions.
sudo apt-get remove netdiag
This will remove just the netdiag package itself.
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove netdiag
This will remove the netdiag package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
If you also want to delete your local/config files for netdiag then this will work.
sudo apt-get purge netdiag
Or similarly, like this netdiag
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove netdiag
