Uninstall vlc-plugin-video-splitter and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove vlc-plugin-video-splitter

This will remove the vlc-plugin-video-splitter package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for vlc-plugin-video-splitter then this will work.
