How To Uninstall volatility-tools On Parrot 3.7

To uninstall volatility-tools just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just volatility-tools

generate profiles to Volatility Framework extraction of digital artifacts from volatile memory (RAM) samples. It is useful in forensics analysis.Parrot 3.7utils2.6-1
sudo apt-get remove volatility-tools

This will remove just the volatility-tools package itself.

Uninstall volatility-tools and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove volatility-tools

This will remove the volatility-tools package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for volatility-tools then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge volatility-tools

Or similarly, like this volatility-tools

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove volatility-tools
