How To Uninstall kdesdk-scripts On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

To uninstall kdesdk-scripts just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just kdesdk-scripts

scripts and data files for developmentUbuntu 12.04 LTSdevel4:4.8.2-0ubuntu3
sudo apt-get remove kdesdk-scripts

This will remove just the kdesdk-scripts package itself.

Uninstall kdesdk-scripts and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove kdesdk-scripts

This will remove the kdesdk-scripts package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for kdesdk-scripts then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge kdesdk-scripts

Or similarly, like this kdesdk-scripts

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove kdesdk-scripts
