How To Uninstall cltl On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

To uninstall cltl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cltl

Common Lisp the Language, second edition, book (Pre-ANSI)Ubuntu 12.04 LTSmultiverse/doc1.0.26
sudo apt-get remove cltl

This will remove just the cltl package itself.

Uninstall cltl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cltl

This will remove the cltl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cltl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cltl

Or similarly, like this cltl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cltl
