How To Uninstall spellcast On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
To uninstall spellcast just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just spellcast

This will remove just the spellcast package itself.
Uninstall spellcast and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove spellcast
This will remove the spellcast package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for spellcast then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge spellcast
Or similarly, like this spellcast
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove spellcast
