How To Uninstall submux-dvd On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
To uninstall submux-dvd just follow these instructions.
Are you having problems? You can always add submux-dvdagain by following the instructions at this link.
Uninstall just submux-dvd
http://installion.co.uk/ubuntu/precise/multiverse/s/submux-dvd/uninstall/index.htmlsubtitle multiplexer, muxes subtitles into .vobUbuntu 12.04 LTSmultiverse/utils0.5.1-0.0sudo apt-get remove submux-dvd
This will remove just the submux-dvd package itself.
Uninstall submux-dvd and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove submux-dvd
This will remove the submux-dvd package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for submux-dvd then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge submux-dvd
Or similarly, like this submux-dvd
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove submux-dvd
