How To Uninstall ideviceinstaller-dbg On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

To uninstall ideviceinstaller-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just ideviceinstaller-dbg

Utility to manage installed applications on an iDevice – debugUbuntu 12.04 LTSuniverse/debug1.0.0-1ubuntu1
sudo apt-get remove ideviceinstaller-dbg

This will remove just the ideviceinstaller-dbg package itself.

Uninstall ideviceinstaller-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove ideviceinstaller-dbg

This will remove the ideviceinstaller-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for ideviceinstaller-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge ideviceinstaller-dbg

Or similarly, like this ideviceinstaller-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove ideviceinstaller-dbg
