How To Uninstall qt3-assistant On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
To uninstall qt3-assistant just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just qt3-assistant

This will remove just the qt3-assistant package itself.
Uninstall qt3-assistant and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove qt3-assistant
This will remove the qt3-assistant package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for qt3-assistant then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge qt3-assistant
Or similarly, like this qt3-assistant
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove qt3-assistant
