How To Uninstall qtcreator-dbg On Ubuntu 12.04 LTS

To uninstall qtcreator-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just qtcreator-dbg

debugging symbols for Qt Creator IDEUbuntu 12.04 LTSuniverse/debug2.4.1-0ubuntu2
sudo apt-get remove qtcreator-dbg

This will remove just the qtcreator-dbg package itself.

Uninstall qtcreator-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove qtcreator-dbg

This will remove the qtcreator-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for qtcreator-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge qtcreator-dbg

Or similarly, like this qtcreator-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove qtcreator-dbg
